LOA Associates are urgently recruiting for Specialty Doctors in Ophthalmology!!!
Applications are invited from suitably experienced and enthusiastic Doctors for the post of Specialty Doctor as an Ophthalmologist.
The job plan is for 10 PA’s per week, working closely with 6 Consultant colleagues and 4 Specialty Doctors and 1 Registrar.
Our North West based NHS Foundation Trust delivers a full range of Services for the Community. We recently integrated with our shared Community Services Teams, to provide the public the best possible service we can deliver and ensure their pathways are efficient and effective for each individual patient we see.
This exciting vacancy holds a Job Plan involving teaching and carrying out research and clinical audits for this growing specialty.
We welcome colleagues who are working towards obtaining their requirements on the Specialist Register, the successful candidate will have the ability to working alongside colleagues who have successfully trained four colleagues in the past to a this required level, which enabled them to get their Specialist Register.
In addition, the successful applicant will be expected to participate in Teaching and Training, Clinical Governance activities and also the necessary administrative duties related to Clinical Services.
To be eligible for this particular vacancy, Doctors should have Postgraduate experience in Ophthalmology.
